Ahh, For all those who have been taken by a used car dealer - I'm getting even tomorrow! I owe it all to Lucas oil's I sold my Blazer to my sis and received cash and her old tired broken down '97 Blazer. The Blazer has a bad lifter (or two) and sounds like a helicopter taking off. I changed the oil, and added the Lucas oil stabilizer additive and like magic, The noise almost completely disappears. It only 'taps' for 15 seconds in the morning when it is cold. Saturday, I will allow the truck to warm up until it sounds normal and I'm going to trade it in. I almost feel bad about it. Wait a minute - no I don't. I somehow doubt they would offer up info about the truck I plan to buy. I will update after the deal is done. Hopefully no one tries to change the oil in the Blazer... hahaha. Seriously though, I have tried a bunch of oil additives over the years and this is by far the best one I have tried.
