Big Busness & E*

I'm usually a fan of big business, after all the advent of Home Depot, separate, Wal-mart, etc. Have introduced consumers to more selection and lower prices than ever before. Which is great! I'm all about lower prices and bigger selections... Until today. Today I was working on a project that I needed a few disposable paint brushes, I though to myself, man- it would be nice if a local hardware store still existed in the area. I would be able to run in and grab the brushes and run home in a matter of minutes. But, NO. Have to go to Wal-mart. On the way to Wal-mart I heard my 'favorite song of the week' on XM. The song is Gone by Montgomery - Gentry

This ain't no give it time, I'm hurtin' but maybe we can work it out, uh, uh, uh. Won't be no champagne, red rose, romance, second chance, uh, uh, uh. This is gone (Gone), Gone, (Gone), Gone, (Gone), Gone.

Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday. Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang, bang. Gone like a '59 Cadillac, Like all the good things that ain't never coming back. She's gone, (Gone), Gone, (Gone)

That's one verse, I had tried to download the song 50 times to no avail, so while I was at Wal-mart I decided to look for (and buy) the CD. So now I have spent 4x more money on this trip than I would have at a local hardware store! Geez, I fell into the Wal-mart trap!

Back to the song, I immediately opened it, and listened to it three times on the way home. Upon arriving home I considered burning the song to a CD-R and mailing it to 'Tom' - It would be so fitting for him. On second thought, I decided that him acting like a jackass should render E* mine soon enough, so why waste the postage... ;)
